UPDATE: Man accused of stabbing another man on Lextran bus arrested

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say an arrest has been made in an alleged stabbing on a Lextran bus last week.

Police say Amos Vanderpool is in custody and is charged with assault.

According to police, the victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say passengers on a Lextran bus Wednesday night held a man accused of stabbing another passenger on the bus until police arrived.

According to officers, two men got into an argument on the bus around 7:30 p.m. on West Loudon and North Limestone.

One man stabbed the other.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital, but police didn’t know the severity of his injuries.

Officers say after he’s released, he’ll face charges for the stabbing.
