STANFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Officials say the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for customers of the McKinney Water District in Lincoln County as of 10:35 a.m. on February 25.

STANFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Boil Water Advisory was issued Thursday afternoon, February 20, for some McKinney Water District customers in Lincoln County.
The advisory is for customers on Highway 198 from McKinney to Highway 518, Highway 698 to the Green River Church and all of the side roads, according to water district officials. The advisory affects an estimated 700-to-800 customers.
The advisory was issued due to a water line break in McKinney where a Dollar Store is being built, according to water district officials.
Affected customers should boil all tap water to be used for cooking, drinking and ice making for at least three minutes until further notice. All the boiled water to cool before use.
