WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Whitley County woman accused of killing her husband and two daughters three years ago entered an Alford plea in court Wednesday morning.
An Alford plea means Courtney Taylor doesn’t admit guilt, but she knows there is enough evidence to convict her.
Taylor is accused of shooting her husband and two daughters in their beds back in January of 2017. When deputies went to investigate, Taylor aimed a gun at them, and they shot her twice.
The Commonwealth’s Attorney tells the Times-Tribune newspaper he is satisfied with the plea deal because it means Taylor will be in prison for life.
She’s expected to be sentenced in April.
