UPDATE: Names released of 3 killed in multi-vehicle crash


ROCKCASTLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Officials have released the names of the three adults killed in a three-vehicle collision Thursday.

Kentucky State Police says 60-year-old William A. Emmerson, of Lancaster, was headed east on US 150 when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed the center line.

As a result, troopers say Emmerson crashed into a car driven by 69-year-old Dana Owens, of Crab Orchard, and another car driven by 29-year-old Jennifer A. Bishop, of Brodhead.

The Rockcastle Coroner’s Office says Emmerson and his passenger, 45-year-old Melonie M. Reyes, and Bishop all died at the scene.

ROCKCASTLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Officials say three adults are dead after a three-vehicle collision in Rockcastle County Thursday.

Rockcastle County Coroner’s Office says the accident happened on Highway 150 between Mount Vernon and Brodhead around 2:45 p.m.

The Mount Vernon Fire Department says the highway will be closed for the next several hours. Officials say all traffic between Mount Vernon and Brodhead is being detoured onto Cedar Rapids Road.
