Woman found dead in Lexington, homicide investigation underway

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they are investigating a homicide after the body of a woman was found in a home Monday.

The Lexington Police Department says officers responded to a home on the 2200-block of Alexandria Drive around 10 a.m. where the woman was found dead.  Investigators call the death, “suspicious.”

Police say the cause of death is still under investigation.
