KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men are in custody after deputies say they found them with a stolen trailer containing more than $35,000 worth of equipment.
Knox County Sheriff’s Office says the trailer was reported stolen from Virginia. On Monday, deputies say an employee at Lewis Recycling in Flat Lick told them 39-year-old Archie Knuckles and 31-year-old Taylor Kovacik were at the company with the trailer.
When they arrived, deputies say Knuckles and Kovacik were trying to sell the equipment and fiber optic cable materials.
They are both charged with receiving stolen property over $10,000.
