Casey County man accused of sodomy and rape of child

LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators say a Casey County man injured a child during a sexual assault.

Kentucky State Police says 34-year-old Ed Edwards was arrested on January 29 in Liberty following an investigation.

Investigators say the victim was under the age of 12.

In addition to sodomy and rape, Edwards is also charged with sexual abuse.
