Lexington man charged with murder in 2018 homicide case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a man was arrested and charged with murder and sodomy Monday afternoon.

The Lexington Police Department says 33-year-old Andrew Buster Jr. is facing the charges in relation to a 2018 case that was recently determined to be a homicide.

According to police, Buster is accused of sexually assaulting the victim, who became unconscious during the assault, and later died.

Buster’s arrest citation says the victim was Buster’s neighbor.
