Overcast skies have been present all day across the Bluegrass with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s. Rain showers moved into central and eastern Kentucky earlier this afternoon and will continue during the overnight hours.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Tonight, light to moderate rain showers likely, with overnight lows in the lower 40s
Friday, light to moderate rain showers will continue throughout the day with breezy conditions and gusts up to 20 mph. Temperatures will be slightly above average with highs in upper 40s
The low pressure center will continue to pour light to moderate rain showers Friday will some rain changing over into light snow for Saturday. No accumulations are expected; however with cold air in place and mostly cloudy skies snow flurries are likely.
The atmosphere will reset for a few days with calm and cool conditions with temperatures near average under partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. As of now, a trough of low pressure may drop in Wednesday and Thursday provide some rain chances as temperatures will be back in the lower 50s.
