Oh Deer! Lexington officer helps pull deer from pool


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A deer found itself in need of some help Monday after becoming trapped in the swimming pool of a Lexington home.

The homeowner discovered the deer struggling in the pool and called Animal Care & Control, the Lexington Fire Department and the Lexington Police Department.

The Lexington Police Department says Officer Chris Flannery was the first to arrive and helped the homeowner pull the deer from the pool.

The department posted the rescue that was caught on Flannery’s body camera.

So far, the video has 7.6K views on Twitter and more than 300 shares on Facebook.
