Tracking cold temperatures and single digit wind chills

Mostly cloudy skies overnight and very cold temperatures have moved across the Bluegrass. Temperatures won’t be warm at all for your MLK Day with highs in the lower 30s but a light wind out of the north with put wind chills in the teens or single digits.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Today, expect partly sunny skies and COLD temperatures. Highs will be in the lower 30s with wind chills making it feeling colder.

Tonight, clearing skies and a light wind out of the north will send temperatures to the mid teens and wind chills make down to the single digits.

LOOKING AHEAD



As we look to this week highs will only top off into the upper 20s to low 30s with overnights lows in the teens.

Weather will remain calm and cold. Temperatures will slowly rise a few degrees each day making into the 50s by the end of the week, by that time another rainy system will be on deck. We could see a wintry mix on the backside of the storm system.
