Temperatures haven’t move much today from there morning lows in the upper 20s to the highs in the upper 30s. Overcast skies have been apparent all day and a breezy east wind is beginning to kick in as a strong low pressure is starting to move closer to the Bluegrass.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions, gusts up to 25 mph out of the east and lows in the lower 30s.
Saturday will be a warm, wet and windy day. Expect temperatures in the mid 50s with showers throughout the daytime hours, even heavy at time. The wind will certainly be a factor too with sustained winds 20-25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph.
The rain will be an annoyance but the true power from this system will come after with a Canadian High moving in and the Jet Stream dips. Temperatures will finally start to feel like winter across much of the United States.
As we look to next week highs will only top off into the upper 20s to low 30s with overnights lows in the teens.
Weather will remain calm we’ll trade off a rainy Saturday for a cold but quiet week weather wise.
