Man accused of making bomb threat against company in Cynthiana

CYNTHIANA, Ky. (WTVQ) – An arrest has been made in a bomb threat investigation that began months ago, according to The Cynthiana Democrat.

The newspaper reports 23-year-old Jesse Gowan was arrested Wednesday as a result of the bomb threat made to the 3M company in Cynthiana in September.

According to the newspaper, the investigation began after sticky notes saying there was a bomb inside the building were found in one of the company’s restrooms.

The newspaper says Gowan was a temporary service employee at the time.

He is charged with terroristic threatening, according to the report.
