Firefighter hospitalized after truck flipped over in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Knox County firefighter was airlifted to the hospital following an accident on Christmas day.

The Richland Fire Department says the firefighter was driving a tanker truck when it flipped over onto its top.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened on northbound KY 11 near Cannon.

The firefighter’s condition has not yet been released.
