STANFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Human remains were found in a creek in Lincoln County, according to Kentucky State Police.
Deputies say they were called around 4:30 p.m., December 5, for the discovery of possible human remains.
After investigating, deputies say the remains were found in a shallow creek along Goshen Road.
Deputies say the skeletal remains were removed by the Lincoln County coroner and taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for identification.
