We’ve been waiting for the sun for what seems like a forever and today it finally showed up for work! Sunshine and warmer temperatures across Kentucky for our Wednesday, it has been slightly breezy with gusts ranging anywhere between 25 and 30 mph.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Tonight, the winds will die down out of the west with lows dropping down into the low 30s under mostly clear skies.
Thursday will be another repeat performance of today with sunny skies and warmer temperatures, only difference will be no wind for Thursday.
Thursday evening we’ll see increasing cloud cover with light rain showers moving in early Friday morning. This will on stay as liquid precipitation with temperatures staying above freezing. We dry out briefly over the weekend before a giant dip in the jet stream sends another low pressure storm system towards Kentucky.
Rain showers are expected to develop late Sunday night into Monday with widespread showers all day Monday. Fridge cold air moves in behind the showers starting Wednesday.
