According to troopers, family members saw the couple arguing outside the house with the baby when they noticed a stab wound on the baby’s calf.

When paramedics arrived, Troopers say Stepp wouldn’t allow them to treat the baby and said the paramedics were trying to kill the child.

Stepp was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment, assault – child abuse, resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Jude was not arrested.
