ASHLAND, Ky. (WTVQ) – A utility company is awarding a grant to pay for a children’s theater in a museum in Ashland, marking Kentucky Power’s 100th Act of Appreciation this year.
The grant is scheduled to be presented to Highlands Museum & Discovery Center on December 5 at 1:00 p.m.

The company says the theater will give children the opportunity to perform on a stage, present puppet shows, experience theatrical lighting and produce a dance party with sound.
In January, Kentucky Power pledged to complete 100 acts in the communities it serves in celebration of its 100th anniversary.
