LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person had to be cut out of a car following a two vehicle collision in Lexington late Wednesday night, according to Lexington Police.
Investigators say two vehicles collided near the Kroger gas station and ended up in an embankment between Man O War Boulevard and Tates Creek Centre Drive just before 10:30 p.m.
Police say two people in one of the vehicle’s were injured and one of the two had to be cut out of the wreckage. No names were released. Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.
The crash led to the temporary closure of the inner loop of Man O War Boulevard and Tates Creek Centre Drive.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
