Kentucky is currently stuck in a weather pattern of cool nights and sunny days with temperatures below average. All of this includes a bit of a dry spell too, today was no different with highs in the mid to upper 40s and sunny skies. Lexington’s average high for this time of year is 56 degrees we’ve been nearly 10 degrees below average for the past several days.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Tonight, expect mostly clear skies, with lows in the mid 20s and cold conditions.
Saturday will feature dry and sunny conditions with highs in the upper 40s.
Sunday expect highs in the low 50s with plenty more sunshine. No rain is expected this weekend.
The next and best chance of breaking this dry spell and seeing rain showers will move in Tuesday with a slight chance of some wrap around mixing or snow showers Wednesday early morning. However more recently model run show even this looks slim. A more potent system will stream from the south late next week and should break the cycle Thursday.
