People really had to bundle up this morning with record low temperatures in Lexington, Frankfort, Jackson, and London. Many locations had wind chill factors in the single digits.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Tonight, expect slightly warmer conditions, with lows in the upper 20s and a few clouds.
Thursday will become partly cloudy, with highs in the mid 40s, so still about 15 degrees below average Highs get closer to 50 by the end of the weekend, but we’ll still have mornings around freezing.
A cold front will sweep through the Bluegrass Thursday evening but that will only reinforce the cooler temperatures. We will stay below average temperatures until early next week. Temperatures will stay about 10 degrees below average.
