Three men accused of store theft in Shelby County

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three men from Frankfort are accused of cutting a hole into the side of a business in Shelby County to allegedly steal chainsaws and other equipment.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Simpsonville Police, arrest warrants have been issued for Keith Pardi and John Cox. Deputies say William Aldridge is also a suspect, but was already in jail on another charge.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the three suspects cut a hole on the side of Cottrell Farm Equipment on Shelbyville Road in Simpsonville. Police say the suspects went in and stole 20 chainsaws, backpack blowers, and weed eaters which was all worth about 10 thousand dollars.

Investigators say the reported break in was part of a larger theft ring. Detectives say after getting a tip, they found the stolen chainsaws and other equipment dumped behind a store in Bald Knob.

Investigators also say several cars have also been recovered.
