LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Supporters are filing into the Galt House Tuesday night to wait alongside republican candidate Daniel Cameron for election results.
It wasn’t certain he would get to this night, because of a lawsuit that was filed at the beginning of his campaign.
The lawsuit alleged the republican nominee has not been a practicing attorney long enough to hold the state’s top law enforcement job, but a judge ruled otherwise.
While it wasn’t certain if he would make it to election night Cameron continued to move forward and has remained loyal to his platform.
He says he is focused on bettering the Attorney General’s relationship with law enforcement and working to fight the drug epidemic as well as defending the unborn connecting with families in all counties who are pro-life.
