LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Trick or Treating was moved to Saturday afternoon because of the cold and wet weather on Halloween.
There were parents out walking around with their kids, enjoying the sunshine while collecting candy.
Some parents say it was weird to be out celebrating the traditional spooky holiday with the sun out.
“It was a little different but you know with it being daylight versus night but at least it wasn’t as cold,” Jarrod Nelson said.
He said all in all he thinks Halloween is better for everyone being on the weekend, even for adults.
