HARRISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A woman has been arrested after reportedly stealing a fire truck while crews were responding to a structure fire, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
The paper says a volunteer firefighter tried to stop 39-year-old Jessica Clines during a fire on Corinth-Hinton Road in Harrison County.
The sheriff’s office tells the paper that Clines hit the man in the shoulder with the mirror of the truck, while trying to get away.
The Herald-Leader says after a brief struggle, the arresting officer’s taser accidentally went off, hitting Clines’ jacket.
Clines was taken to the hospital, where authorities say she asked to use the bathroom and tried to run away from deputies.
She was then taken to jail in Bourbon County.
Clinesis charged with theft of an automobile, wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and driving on a suspended license.
