LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man is headed to federal prison for selling heroin and methamphetamine, according to prosecutors.
29-year old Juan Gomez was sentenced to nineteen and a half years, according to prosecutors. Gomez was found guilty in June.
Investigators say Gomez had heroin in his car when he crashed into a telephone pole in 2015. They say in July 2017, Gomez was intoxicated when he crashed into the back of a UK Police cruiser. Prosecutors say Gomez had more than 15 pounds of crystal meth, several pounds of marijuana and $60,000 in drug money in his car at the time of the crash.
