KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-Two fugitives wanted out of Mississippi were found and arrested in Knox County Thursday.
the Knox County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Joelrod Hughes and 43-year-old Tessa Emmons were wanted for felony assault and firearm offenses.
Deputies say the two were staying at a home in the Girdler area.
They say that the firearm suspected of being used in the crimes in Mississippi was found in the floor board of the car the pair was driving.
The sheriff’s office says Emmons is accused if assaulting someone and Hughes is accused of shooting the same person, before traveling to Kentucky.
