IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Firefighters were called back out to fight a fire on the morning of Thursday, October 17th, at an Estill County home where a body was found the Tuesday before.
Firefighters say they were called to the home on Covey Road around 2:00 this morning.
The Estill County Fire Department tells us there were no hot spots at the home when they left Wednesday afternoon and they don’t believe the fire re-ignited.
An arson investigator is heading to the scene on Thursday, according to the department.
There was already an investigation after Tuesday’s deadly fire.
Brianna Hacker, who lives next door to the home said it was her mother Tracy who lived in the home and died in the fire.
“She was just such a bright life in everybody’s life. Ya know just trying to take care of everyone. I just don’t know, ya know, how life can go on without her because she was such a big part in everyone’s life. I just hope she was asleep,” Hacker said.
State Police and the State Fire Marshal are investigating the fires.
