Emergency road aid funds awarded to several Ky counties

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced on Tuesday several county Fiscal Court’s will be awarded emergency road aid funds.

Anderson County Fiscal Court will receive $150,000 in County Road Aid emergency funds for a drainage structure on Gilberts Creek Road (CR 1121).

These repairs will make travel safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon this highway.

The project location on Gilberts Creek Road is 0.366 mile east of Harry Wise Road.

Bourbon County Fiscal Court will receive $7,200 in County Road Aid emergency funds for flood damage repair on Stringtown Road (CR 1009).

These repairs will make travel safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon this highway.

The project location on Stringtown Road is located 1.230 miles north of KY 537 at milepoint 1.230.

Garrard County Fiscal Court will receive $21, 712 in County Road Aid emergency funds for flood damage repair on Jack Black Road (CR 1023).

These repairs will make travel safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon this highway.

The project location on Jack Black Road is 1.273 mile north of KY 39 extending north to 0.673 miles south of Jess Ray Road.

Clark County Fiscal Court will receive $50,000 in County Road Aid emergency funds for flood damage repair on Four Mile Road (CR 1205).

These repairs will make travel safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon this highway.

The project location on Four Mile Road is 0.147 mile east of Brookshire Lane at milepoint 0.378.
