Three men in the hospital after Martin County stabbing

MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-Three men went looking for a fight and all ended up in the hospital, according to the Martin County Sheriff.

The Sheriff says Matthew Gullett told them he and another man decided to meet up and fight each other around 8 p.m. Thursday on Rockcastle Creek Road in Inez.

According to the Sheriff, Gullett says the other man showed up with a friend and they hit him in the head with a hammer so he stabbed both of them.

Gullett was cited for assault.

The Sheriff says the other two men will be charged.
