BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announced Friday Berea will receive $94,999 in discretionary funds for improvements on city streets.
“This funding builds upon existing transportation investments and allows the Cabinet to collaborate with local governments to identify projects that will have a large impact in communities,” said KYTC Secretary Greg Thomas.
The roads set to be addressed provide access to 30 homes.
The City of Berea is responsible for all phases of work, and KYTC will reimburse the city for the projects.
Repair work will address:

- North Dogwood Drive (City Street 2103) – guardrail installation 0.586 miles
- Ellipse Street (City Street 2140) – construction of turn lane 0.138 miles
