DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Danville Police have arrested a man accused of shooting another man in the leg.
Police Chief Tony Gray says around 5:41 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Fourth and High streets where officers found 35-year-old Keith Stallworth shot in the leg.
Police say William Hargis, from Lexington, surrendered himself to them.
The chief says witnesses told officers Hargis was on a motorcycle when Stallworth pulled up in a pickup truck and the two started a physical fight.
During that, police say Hargis fired two rounds with at least one hitting Stallworth in the leg.
He was taken to UK Hospital with what police described as a serious injury.
