LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say three men are in custody following the fatal shooting of a Lexington man last week.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says 19-year-old Nathaniel Shelby was pronounced dead Saturday at the University of Kentucky hospital. Shelby was shot September 3 at an apartment complex on East Reynolds Road.
On Tuesday, Lexington Police announced 18-year-old Jah’Quez Crutchfield, 20-year-old Rafael Malik Brewster and 18-year-old Moses Thompson were arrested in Scott County and charged in connection to the case.
Crutchfield and Brewster are charged with murder and Thompson is charged with facilitation to murder. All three are charged with robbery.
According to police, Shelby was shot over a drug dispute.
