Corbin woman arrested for living in filth with two children


LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Laurel County mother was arrested after sheriff’s deputies say they found her and two children living in filthy conditions.

Deputies were called to the home off Warren Chandler Road by social services.

They say there were piles of trash everywhere, spoiled food around the house and bugs all over the floor and tables.

Investigators say they also found drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say 33-year-old Casey Laws, of Corbin, was charged with criminal abuse of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was taken to jail in London.
