BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Breathitt County’s judge-executive is in more legal trouble.
Jeff Noble was charged Tuesday with 16 new counts of first-degree official misconduct, one count of abuse of public trust for less than $10,000 and one count of theft by unlawful taking less than $10,000.
According to his arrest citation, Noble put diesel fuel from the Jiffy Mart into his personal vehicle 16 times and used county money to pay for it. It totaled around $986, according to documents.
His arrest comes a little more than two weeks after he was indicted on charges of using taxpayer money to buy lumber for his own personal use. He says he bought to the lumber to be used to repair a county bridge.
