LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man authorities say was responsible for a hit-and-run accident in Laurel County earlier this month that left four people injured is under arrest after a traffic stop.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says 61-year-old Roger Vaughn, of Louisville, went through a stop sign and was pulled over by deputies Wednesday night.
Deputies say they discovered Vaughn had a warrant out for an accident near London on August 4. According to the sheriff, Vaughn ran off after hitting a car with four people inside, including two children. All four were taken to the hospital.
Vaughn is charged with four counts of assault and driving under the influence – third offense, along with several other charges.
