LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – God’s Pantry Food Bank received an $8,000 grant from The Darden Foundation.
The money will help provide hunger relief to families across Central and Eastern Kentucky.
According to the food bank the funds will be used to support general operations of the Food Bank.
“Since 2013 the Darden Foundation has provided more than $35,000 of support,” said Michael Halligan, CEO for God’s Pantry Food Bank. “In addition to creating memorable experiences, Darden Restaurants helps ensure nutritious food reaches the tables of those who are uncertain about their next meal. They bring hope to those less fortunate.”
