LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man was sentenced to 80-months in federal prison for dealing drugs, according to prosecutors.
Investigators say 24-year old Dominique Jamar McCann admitted to dealing drugs and carrying a gun in connection to his trafficking. He was sentenced August 1, 2019.
In May 2018, McCann led Lexington Police on a high-speed chase that resulted in McCann colliding with another vehicle and running from the accident scene. Officers quickly caught up to him and placed him under arrest.
Police say he was carrying approximately one ounce of heroin and a Glock handgun.
