LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- People trying to spend time at the Northside Branch of Lexington’s public library Tuesday evening were in the dark.
The library had to close early due to a partial power outage.
There was lightning in the area at the time, but Kentucky Utilities says that might not be the cause.
According to KU, there was an equipment issue with a transformer. The library was the only KU customer impacted.
The utility says it should be fixed in time for the library to re-open tomorrow.
