FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Franklin County family is hoping a reward will bring answers in the death of their loved one.
The body of 45-year-old Bryan Cox was found along the Kentucky River in Franklin County back on September 7.
Frankfort Police say he was spotted by people in a boat touring the river.
The Franklin County coroner ruled Cox’s death an accidental drowning.
Police say they are still going with the coroner’s ruling but they are still looking into the case because the family approached them.
Police will not say why the family believes Cox’s death may not have been an accident.
Cox’s family is now offering a $10,000 award for information on his death.
