WOODFORD COUNTY, KY (WTVW) – They’ve made their mark on the court. Now, Erik Daniels, Antwain Barbour and Makayla Epps will share their knowledge as coaches for the Woodford County Girls Basketball Team.
Last month Daniels was introduced as the head coach. It’s his first time ever being the mastermind on the sideline, but the staff he’s put together is right there with him.
Antwain Barbour had always thought about being a coach some day, but was surprised and happy to be offered an assistant role.
Meanwhile, as soon as Epps heard about Daniels being named Head Coach, she was on her phone immediately to try and become an assistant as well.
Daniels still has yet to see his new team play, but once he figures that any system they run will play through the team’s size in the front court.
