House fire in South Lexington Sunday morning


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department responded to a house fire in South Lexington Sunday morning.

The department says it was able to quickly put out the fire at the house on the 3500 block of Appian Way.

The family was able to safely get out of the home.

ABC 36 went to the scene and saw most of the damage appeared to be on the second floor.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
