More heat, humidity and storms to finish out the weekend

Overview:  Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue into Sunday, with warm and very muggy conditions. High temperatures will generally be in the upper 80s to low 90s through next week, with scattered rain and storms mainly for the afternoon and evening hours. A few storms may be strong to severe, with gusty winds, hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rain possible. Rain chances will diminish for early next week, with more scattered rain and storms next Wednesday.

TONIGHT:  Partly cloudy skies and a few rain showers will be possible, with a low of 71 degrees. Patchy fog may develop through the early morning hours of Sunday.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy skies and scattered storms will linger, with a high temperature of 86 degrees.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low of 68 degrees.

MONDAY: Partly Cloudy skies, with a warm high of 85 degrees.
