CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man found passed out behind the wheel of a car is not only facing a DUI charge but he’s also accused of impersonating a police officer.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy spotted the car, in gear, at the CMR gas station around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
The sheriff says 52-year-old Michael Marcum was passed out at the wheel.
The deputy determined Marcum was under the influence and says, while placing Marcum under arrest, Marcum told him he was an FBI agent and shouldn’t be arrested.
Marcum refused to submit to a blood test, according to the sheriff.
Marcum is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, impersonating a police officer and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked license.
