Teenager’s body pulled from Elkhorn Creek in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Franklin County Coroner says a missing boy has been found dead in Elkhorn Creek.

Search crews started looking for the boy around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after people saw him dive into the water without coming back up.

Crews found the 14-year-old boy’s body around 8:30 p.m.

The coroner is waiting to notify all his family members before releasing his name.
