Overview:  High pressure remains in control of the forecast with mostly clear skies tonight and mostly sunny skies for your Tuesday. Some patchy dense fog will be possible overnight mainly in the valleys. As for rain and thunderstorm activity, scattered showers should remain to the west of central Kentucky this afternoon with a stray one possible this evening. Some more scattered showers possible for Tuesday but better chances for showers enter the forecast Wednesday and Thursday.

TONIGHT:  Mostly clear skies develop with patchy fog possible, with a mild low temperature of 69 degrees.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms possible, with a high temperature of 88 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mild and muggy conditions continue, with an overnight low of 70 degrees.

WEDNESDAY:  Partly sunny skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms possible, with a high temperature of 86 degrees.
