Owingsville PD searching for ‘sleight-of-hand’ bank theft suspects


OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Owingsville Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying two suspects after a bank theft.

According to the Bath County News Outlook, two people, a man and a woman, went into a bank, approached the teller and asked to change some 20s and 50s into larger bills.

Police say one of the two people used ‘Sleight-of-Hand’ trickery to hide some of the bills.

The bank says the two people made off with twice as much money as they were entitled too.
