Flash Flood Watch in effect through Tuesday

0

Overview:  A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect now through Tuesday, with more rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms likely this week. Some storms may also be capable of damaging winds, frequent lightning, and small hail. High temperatures will generally stay around 80 degrees Tuesday through Thursday, with low to mid 80s Friday into the weekend. Friday will be our driest day of the week, yet a few isolated rain showers will still be possible. This weekend will feature isolated to widely scattered rain showers and thunderstorms at times, yet it is not expected to be a “washout”.

TONIGHT:  Rain and storm chances continue tonight, with mild and muggy conditions. Overnight low temperatures will be around 69 degrees. Flash flooding will be possible, so use caution traveling at night around creeks, streams, and low lying areas.
