GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Metal boxes are going up around Garrard County, in the hope it will lead to information on a missing Richmond mother of four.
Savannah Spurlock was last seen January 4 leaving a bar in downtown Lexington with three men.
The men later told investigators she went to a Garrard County home.
Family and friends have offered a reward, put up flyers and even conducted their own searches for Spurlock, but there are still no leads.
They are now trying another tactic – placing metal “tip boxes” around Garrard County.
They say the boxes are being placed in areas that don’t have surveillance cameras, so tips will be anonymous.
The team will collect anything left in the boxes once a week.
