JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A family is asking for help after a fatal fire destroyed their home.
On Sunday, 48 year old Ronnie Hall died in Jessamine County house fire.
He lived there with his aunt and uncle.
Ronnie’s aunt, Rose Hall says the second floor is destroyed along with most of the right side of the home including a bedroom and the dining room.
The couple is living with their son for right now.
The couple plans on repairing the damage and they estimate it’ll cost them around $30,000.
Hall says they don’t have insurance and are on a tight budget.
There is a Go Fund Me page set up for them and Hall says they are grateful to anyone who can help.
“I hope that God blesses each and every one of you all that can even spare one dollar. Every dollar adds up,” said Rose Hall.
The Jessamine County fire department says the state is investigating, but still hasn’t figured out how the fire started.
